Role Purpose:

The role of an LOS at Khoshaim & Associates is exciting, challenging and rewarding.  Working alongside leading lawyers, Khoshaim & Associates recognizes that LOSs are an important part of the team.  Our LOSs are required to provide a professional and efficient legal administrative service to Partners and other fee earners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive diary management/email management
  • Arranging departmental meetings
  • Client care; dealing with inquiries, filtering calls, updating and maintaining client contact database
  • Arranging meeting, conference calls, video-conferences and other related logistics
  • Extensive travel management; visas, bookings and related logistics
  • Preparing routine correspondence and legal documentation (including audio typing).  Taking responsibility for the general management and turnaround of documents.
  • Managing incoming communication (including e-mail and voicemail)
  • Drafting/transcribing appropriate replies where necessary
  • Assisting with billing; liaising with revenue controllers to ensure effective and efficient billing process
  • Preparing documents/presentations/engagement letters
  • Assisting in the process of experience collection, credentials and CVs and ad-hoc business development support
  • Tracking and collating marketing activity
  • Virtual filing/matter management
  • Establish and maintain an effective filing system (and other administrative systems) to ensure completeness and accuracy of technical, professional and matter information
  • Contribute to team to ensure administrative requirements of are consistently met and to a high standard; willing and flexible to provide cross-group and departmental support at all times
  • Ensure a professional and consistent approach to Standard Operating Procedures and Values
