Associate
Salma Selim is an associate in our Corporate team. Salma has acted on a range of corporate matters including M&A acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, and shareholder arrangements. Her particular focus is M&A and corporate advisory work in Egypt and the Middle Eastern region. She has advised companies, free zones, government bodies, private equity houses, management teams, high net worth individuals, and entrepreneurs on a range of cross-border and multi-jurisdiction transactions.
Prior to joining Khoshaim and Associates, Salma has obtained a dual bachelor's degree in Egyptian law from Cairo University and French law, along with two master's degrees from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, where she graduated with High Honors. Subsequently, she gained experience in leading law firms in Paris and Cairo over a period of seven years, where they advised on various investment arbitration cases and large-scale acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, and shareholder arrangements. Furthermore, due to time spent in Egypt and France, Salma has gained a deep understanding of key corporate and commercial laws in the region, allowing her to advise companies from both a transactional and a general corporate perspective.
Salma is fluent in Arabic, French and English.
