Having advised the Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG)on its share-swap acquisition of the National Petrochemical Company(Petrochem), K&A is pleased to announce the legal completion of the transaction.

K&A’s role in the transaction involved advising on issues relating to structuring, regulatory approvals, and drafting and negotiation of transaction documents, including leading on the drafting of the public shareholders’ documents which were issued by SIIG in its capacity as the offeror.

The transaction builds on K&A’s strong record as a market leader in M&A deals in Saudi Arabia, after having acted on every major public M&A deal including the NCB/Samba merger, Saudi Aramco/SABIC acquisition, and the Sipchem/Sahara share swap.
