Karim Wali is a Partner at K&A's Finance and Projects practice. With over a decade of experience in Saudi Arabia and prior practice in London, Karim brings a unique blend of global perspective and local insight to his work.

He advises financial institutions, investors, and corporates on a broad range of Islamic and conventional finance transactions, including syndicated facilities, ESG-linked financings, complex restructurings, financial reschedulings, and turnaround transactions. Karim is also deeply engaged in the intersection of finance, technology, and regulation, regularly counseling banks and FinTech companies on cybersecurity, data protection, digital banking, and AI-related compliance.

His in-depth understanding of both traditional and innovative financing structures positions him as a leading voice in the development of Shariah-compliant, sustainable, and technology-driven investments in Saudi Arabia.

Karim is admitted as a Solicitor in England & Wales, having qualified in the London office of Allen & Overy LLP in 2003. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and is fluent in Arabic and English.
