Associate
Omar is an Associate in K&A’s Regulatory practice, where he advises government entities, regulators, and private sector clients on a wide range of legislative, policy, and regulatory matters. His experience includes drafting and developing laws, implementing regulations, policies, and governance frameworks across multiple sectors, as well as advising government bodies on the legal aspects of their operations and public initiatives.
Before joining K&A, Omar worked as a licensed lawyer specializing in dispute resolution, where he prepared judicial memoranda, legal opinions, and pleadings before various judicial and quasi-judicial bodies. In addition, Omar has supported government clients on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects and advised on Islamic finance transactions, including drafting and auditing financial products such as Murabaha and assisting Shariah Boards on product development in line with regulatory and Sharia requirements.
Omar holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with First Class Honors from King Saud University, and has obtained the General Securities Qualification Certificate (CME-1). He is fluent in Arabic and English.
