Omar Iqbal is a Partner in Khoshaim & Associates’ Corporate practice, with over 20 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, primarily in Saudi Arabia. He is recognized by The Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner and was featured on the M&A Middle East Power List 2024 for his market-leading transactional expertise.

Omar specializes in advising clients on private equity, private mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, foreign investment, corporate restructuring, corporate governance, and general commercial matters. He has extensive experience advising both Saudi and international clients across a wide range of sectors, including financial institutions, telecommunications, healthcare, education, entertainment, family businesses, privatization, and real estate.

Before joining K&A, Omar spent over a decade with leading international law firms including Baker McKenzie, Baker Botts, and Clifford Chance, and also served as legal counsel at Samba Financial Group (now SNB).

Omar holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of London and is a member of The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn (UK). He is fluent in English and Arabic.
