Associate
Mariyyah is an Associate in K&A's’ Dispute Resolution practice, where she advises and represents clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings across a range of commercial and regulatory matters. Her experience includes handling employment disputes, contractual claims, shareholder and governance disputes, and administrative and civil cases before Saudi courts and arbitral tribunals.
Mariyyah has experience working on corporate and capital markets matters, including securities, private placements, investment funds, and private equity transactions, which enhances her understanding of the commercial issues underlying complex disputes.
Before joining K&A, Mariyyah worked with a local law firm, gaining first-hand experience of the Saudi judicial system and assisting clients in arbitration and litigation across various sectors. She also served as a consultant with the World Bank’s Doing Business Project team, contributing to the Doing Business 2020 Report and analyzing legal frameworks governing secured transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
Mariyyah holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from King Abdulaziz University and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center, where she focused on commercial and financial law and arbitration. She also earned an International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Certificate from Georgetown University.
She is fluent in Arabic and English.
